Khaya Studio Named Best Residential Interior Design Studio 2026 – Bristol

I'm delighted to share that Khaya Studio has been named Best Residential Interior Design Studio 2026 – Bristol in the LUXlife Awards!

It's a wonderful honour to receive this recognition, and I'm incredibly grateful to LUXlife for including the studio. Running an independent interior design business is hugely rewarding, but it also involves a lot of hard work behind the scenes. To have that work recognised in this way means a great deal.

Creating beautiful homes across Bristol and Somerset

Based in Bristol, Khaya Studio specialises in residential interior design, helping clients transform their homes into thoughtful, characterful spaces that feel both beautiful and personal.

My approach is centred on understanding each property and the people who live in it. I believe the most successful interiors respond to the architecture, history and proportions of a building, while reflecting the individual tastes and lifestyles of its owners.

Whether I'm working on a traditional country farmhouse, a Victorian townhouse, a period coach house or a contemporary new build, I love creating interiors that feel as though they truly belong.

Every project is different, and I don't believe in applying a signature look to every home. Instead, I take inspiration from the property itself, developing a considered palette of colours, materials, textures and furnishings that brings out its individual character.

Interior design and project management, from start to finish

At Khaya Studio, I offer a fully project-managed interior design service, guiding clients through the entire process, from the initial design concepts and material selections through to sourcing, procurement, coordination of trades, installation and final styling.

Clients work directly with me throughout their project, ensuring a personal and consistent service from our first conversation to the finishing touches.

I also work with a trusted network of local tradespeople, suppliers and craftspeople, whose expertise is invaluable in bringing each design to life. I take great pride in managing the practical details alongside the creative process, making the experience as enjoyable and straightforward as possible for my clients.

Growing Khaya Studio in Bristol

Khaya Studio began in 2020, and since relocating the business to Bristol in 2024, I've been focused on building a studio that delivers exceptional residential interiors while becoming part of the city's wonderful design community.

It's been an exciting journey, working on an increasingly diverse range of homes across Bristol, Bath and Somerset, developing relationships with talented local businesses and continuing to grow the studio.

This award is a lovely milestone in that journey and encouragement to keep doing what I love.

A heartfelt thank you

I'm incredibly grateful to LUXlife for recognising Khaya Studio as Best Residential Interior Design Studio 2026 – Bristol.

Most importantly, thank you to all my wonderful clients who have trusted me with their homes and allowed me to bring their ideas to life. I'm equally thankful to the suppliers, tradespeople and collaborators who support every project. It's a team effort, and I feel very fortunate to work with such talented people.

Here's to creating many more beautiful homes across Bristol and Somerset!
